UK calling!!!

hi all,
and i landed in UK a week back... a wonderful experience so far...
i tot i'd share it with you all here... it was the 5th feb and all day since morning we're running around packing. that was a tiring job and challenging too! i had my set of "important" things to take. my mom dint want me compromise on the voluminous cooker and kettles and 3-4 spoons and ready-to-eat packs, the garam masalas, the dip tea bags and the thermal wears, the countless towels and inner wears [;)]. the list dint end until it included the medicines and the innumerable warm wears and what not!!! i had a big list with me... and AIR INDIA dint want me to take more than 40 kgs... that was more of a challenge! 4-5 trips to a shop with my filled luggage and weighing and removals and additions and again weighing left us exhausted and finally with the target achieved with so many things that i wanted left out at home :( no other options i had but to compromise with it... my friends and relatives started pouring in and the unending good and bad advices accompanied them. missing India feeling had already overtaken my nerves!!
even now as i am writing this, I feel the smell of home :(
various thoughts flew by my mind in the next few mins... in sometime i would be thousands of miles away from my parents, my home, my room, my buddies, my love, my bike, the Bangalore malls, the lip smacking chaats on the roadside where the sweat of the cook adds to the taste of the chaat ;) the long conversations with Kulla, Rag, Nithin and my closest buddies...........
I had started feeling the vacuum yet avoided showing it up on my face knowing that I still could enjoy the "last few never to return happy hours again"
It was evening and more people at home now. I was rather feeling like a celebrity (hehehehe....)
There was more excitement in my relatives and friends than in me. High expectations in few eyes, a few felt something auspicious in continuously suggesting me and a few wanted me introduce me to some cute ppl who had come to see me off [;)] none seemed to miss me....
It was the dinner time before which we had a small yet memorable celebration [:)]
all of us had dinner together and worth mentioning is that mom fed with her hand... :) I don't know why but feeling that this day won't come back again ever...
Huh! was time to leave home now... Prostrated before god! I am gratetful to him for making this one more dream of mine come true... We all sat in the car and with a heavy heart and a filled throat I bid good bye to my place...

emotions filled in our journey from my place to the airport. Rag did drive slowly yet we reached there well before time...

I quickly ran through my memory lane recalling the moments spent in India right from my first crushes to my true love, my school days, the numerous scolding sessions by Rag and Nithin, the cold storage (though not been there more than twice) the unlimited skits and secret thefts at home ( chocolates guys!!! nothing more) 40  months of exploring myself in eBIZ, the autographs! photographs!!! conventions!!! seminars!!! passes! STAGE!!! music! college days!!! movies! long calls at night!! bunking classes!!! running for 2-3 marks!! unlimited scolding sessions by parents (it was rather fun)!!! proposing and convincing... [:)] and jumping around when it was a "YES". the first drink, fights with friends!!! making up!!! and many others...

I could not stop that tear but allowed it to express myself!!!

I checked in looking back at my people whenever possible from the huge glass building. Even the security asked me if this was my first time abroad!!! hehehe... I was in the international zone now! Security check and immigration was done. I was to wait for my flight to Mumbai. about in ten mins the flight's arrival was announced and we were taken in a bus from the lounge to the Flight. the sight of the metal birds was magnificent and mindblowing!!! A beautiful air hostess escorted us into the jet.
There I sat on the window side looking outside as the plane took off waving secretly to my people and place... As we went up i witnessed the city lights fading away slowly leaving a heavy lump in my throat...

Kulla Reloaded!

this poem that am writing,
is not thought igniting,
its for a person that i know,
who sways everyone with his glow

He's no tall,
But as he enters there's a huge squall,
He's funny, he's serious
Yet most of the time he is delirious

Wonderful times we had together,
Me kulla and nith
As akash sameer n sid,
We've grown and grown mature,
Still fighting hard for the future that's unsure,

As kulla prepares to leave
Shrugging up his sleeve,
Tying up his shoe
He will be gone soon, our Srivishu,

We wish him all the luck,
Hope he gets to everything Unstuck
Let the lord see him as his own member
As we will always remember,
The three musketeers
srivishu srinithu n sriraghu!!

All the best for everything in life kullle!!!

WELCOME 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After such a long time I celebrated the new year night! I witnessed the Bangalore being lit in the dark night by the bursting crackers and rockets at the tick of 12!!! i dint want to say but engineering new year celebrations were done by romancing with books and wonder if next year VTU would spare us all! ( i am sure many of you will agree with me with that). thank god this year we made a good start enjoying with friends, talking that extra minute being carefree bout getting back to books only to vomit the next day morning!!!!

I thank god that 2008 was great year for me with lotsa ups and downs. ups and downs are jst part of life! everyone's life. be it Obama or Shahrukh or Vishal! jus that how we react to them makes the life turn that way. I pray to god that many such wonderful, eventful and exciting years come ahead in our lives and we do our best to enjoy every moment on this earth.

neways this is not the normal blog. jus felt like writing my first blog of the year and wish all my friends A HAPPY NEW YEAR AHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
